Some wings look hiteous on a car, because they pick a car that doesn't have complimentary curves with said wing, and/or a lame bodykit, or lame paint/decals.
Then sometimes the same exact wing on the RIGHT car looks fine, sometimes really good.
What he has here is modest, and yes, it looks similar to lambo's former Kaminari spoiler, which I happen to like.
I think you should give it a try.
