I'm getting p1190 code
I'm getting a P1190 code and I've seen up to 3 different meanings for this code just stating what it could be. Sooooooo.
Engine: 2.4L SRT - with:
AEM CAI
Borla Exhaust
How do I solve this code problem (please be very discriptive... I'm not too familiar with this engine)?
Thanks for your help!

Everyone knows that for breasts to be "perfect" they need to be within reach.
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P1190-TIP SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH
When Monitored: Ignition on. TP sensor voltage less than 1.2 volts. Battery voltage
greater than 10 volts.
Set Condition: The TIP signal voltage is greater than 4.92 volts for 1.7 seconds. One trip
Fault.

Throttle Inlet Pressure
It's located on the driverside of the engine bay by the fender almost right next to the opening where the hose comes from the resonator box... or where the CAI tube would run down behind the bumper.

The TIP sensor is mounted on the intake manifold.....
The manifold will have a MAP and a TIP sensor....

The black sensor up top with the purple and gray wire coming out of it… is this the TIP sensor?

According to the FSM Powertrain Glossory
TIP throttle inlet pressure
It is outboard of the airbox near the fender. Forward of the PDC (fuse box).
It is either natural colored 3-wire or black 2-wire connector.

Okay!!! so that explains this:
http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?p=305066#305066
now I just need to find what goes on the other side of that connector so that I can get them for my car.
Any help with that will be greatly appreciated. (and yes I'm searching too)

um no....your thinking of the Intake Air Temp sensor....
The TIP sensor is mounted on the intake manifold.....
The manifold will have a MAP and a TIP sensor....
Ive got to learn about the srt's a little bit more.......
My above quote, do not listen to me

Pic taken from SRT forums...
I'm assuming this is where everyone is talking about for the location of the TIP sensor. It's mounted on the inner frame rail on the drivers side of the engine compartment.

not having anything over there I ended up using the solenoid 1 white line for the boost gauge... that has since been corrected and I should be getting the sensor Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks yo.
