Yeah they both run. Red one is stock minus some visual stuff, coilovers, and shifter bushings.

Blue one has STS, SRI, BOV, BFMIC, exhaust, turbo timer, and some visual stuff.

I'm still waiting for the shop to finish the engine, and when it's done it will most likely be going in the blue car. Although, I might end up putting the engine that is currently in the blue car in the red car. Maybe.

Thanks! I think all the finger crossing and luck wishing paid off because I got the job! Wooooo hooo I am no longer unemployed. Praise Jesus, unicorns, and all those other mythical creatures.

Wow I am going to do everything in my power not to lose this job and become unemployed again.

Thanks man!

I think I've decided to put the beasty motor in big blue, and once that is running without bugs I'll put big blue's little old stocker in sleepy red.

Yay for adjectives and code names.

Yeah don't worry, I'm sure I'll be calling you guys to come get your hands dirty too :-p

Edit: I don't know if I mentioned this yet, but I called the shop and they said a the long block should be completely assembled by the end of this week. So I think that translates into another month. But still. I'm excited.

Well another shop decides to rape me, charged exactly 2x the original quote, but at least I have the long block back.

At first I was so pissed I was going to sell everything, but then nobody took the sale seriously and I came to my senses and realized I've come pretty damn far to turn back now.

So I've still got both Neons, and I'm thinking about putting the monster motor in the red one. No matter what I do, it will be a while before I do it. I'll probably take the blue one to Carlisle.

They have their ups and downs :)

I really like having my own place and being able to park both cars in a garage.

Well I'm still around, and I still have all the parts. My red 05 SXT has 86k miles on it. I'm not sure what my plans are at this point. I guess I'm subconsciously waiting until I'm forced to make a decision, for example if the red one craps out on me.
