Huge thanks to Andrew (kc2002acr) for helping me install the coils today. It would have taken me 4 times as long as it did if he were not there! They look great by the way! I will post pictures in a few minutes, but I'm gonna run to the quick-n-lazy car wash first. Oh BTW, stock coils and stuff are now for sale, $100 obo! ;)

Ride's about the same, just slightly stiffer. I now scrape on a lot of things I never did before, and I practically don't have to lift my foot to get into the car.

Yep at your garage it was 2.5-3 fingers, so a little something must have happened on the way home.

Well I glance at the equipment and you usually can see your car and it says HUNTER really big on it. lol

I like the Hunter one. The maint echs at my work wish it was a Hunter instead of a Jim Beam...

Okay, bunch of random pre-swap questions to ensure I have all the parts I need and minimize vehicle down-time....

Image

1) I plan on getting a new throttle body, because the one that came on the engine is chipped, and might leak, plus a bigger one would be better anyway. The thing is, will my SXT throttle cable work with an SRT-4 throttle body?

-----------------------------------------

Image
Image

2) Were the stock injectors on an 03 SRT-4 pink? If not, are these a certain stage injectors?

-----------------------------------------

Image

3) Anybody recognize that?

-----------------------------------------

4) The intake manifold is dirty inside, what is the best way to clean it out? Will it hurt to just spray it out with water and let it dry on it's own?

Image

-----------------------------------------

5) Can I use the starter and or alternator from my SXT on the SRT engine?

1- I doubt it will leak. The coupler goes way over that area... But hey might as well upgrade.
2-Yes, those are the Stage 0 injectors. Might be a good idea to upgrade since you are going big turbo..
3-Looks to be a the purge vacuum line. I will double check mine...

Blow some compressed air in your intake manifold to get that crap off. Should be fine to put water in there and blow it out with compressed air as long as you get it bone dry. Maybe someone will chime in...

4- Soap and water. I've found tire bleach works great at cleaning aluminum parts. You'll wanrt to remove the sensors first.
