I actually put that on there. Mazda sent me a Zoom~Zoom decal, so I figured I'd just put it under the hood. I didn't expect it to stay since it gets SUPER hot right there, but it's been staying so far.

thx for the compliment tnk..today i just painted all those ugly yellow caps black..the sensor things black..and other odds and ends ..oh and installed eblue catchcan....i really need a strut bar and cf fuse cover tho.... :(

Yep, you can. Pressure washer works wonders. You can't go crazy with it, but with some judicious use, it can make a dirty bay look ALOT better.

I use Simple Green Degreaser, soak down the underhood areas, including strut towers, firewall, engine, trans, etc.

Let sit for about 5 mins on a cool engine, then use a pressue washer to spray everything down, just avoiding spraying directly at coil pack, plugs/wires and computer.

Once I do that, let it run with the hood open for a while, till everything dries. (I use my air compressor to blow out crevices) and once its all dry, I let the engine cool, then use tire shine sprayed everywhere to look good again.
