CAI issues

why do some cold air intakes say for manual transmission only. i want to get the obx intake, but i can't find a definate answer on whether it will fit or not. i have a 2001 neon se automatic.

Might have something to do with the atx fluid dip stick? Thats the only thing I can think of that is in that general area. Good question.

ATX or MTX it does not matter, what matters is if its for a Magnum motor or not....

yeah it'll fit, the CAI when i had one i bought was for an mtx, i have 01 auto se just like u..

thanks for the help guys. the intake is ordered and should get here in about a week. i've been bitten by the performance bug, and it looks like it's going to be hard to not spend every last dollar on the neon. lol

lol yeah, it gets that way. I said i was just going to put 17's and dual tips on mine, now i'm looking for a 2.4 swap and a 50 trim.
