Looks good Dan.. It rained so hard that I had to go home to change... Did you keep your car there over night or take it home?
I"ll see you there tomorrow... lets hope that the rain will hold up until the show is over...

Yeah i left my car, too much of a pain in the ass to load it on the trailer, it really is i promise lol. The rain was actually enjoyable, atleast on our end of the lot. Lots of crazy drunk people acting a fool, just had us laughing so hard.

wasn't able to get a vid, but i will post more pics up later. The damn rain ruined a shot at getting a vid. but I must say, even with the front end the way it is, it still drove like a dream!! I drove it around the show only an inch or less from the ground. Of course i drug a few times, but thats due to uneven ground. Man that was all i needed to get me motivated to get her finished

This show was alot of fun, even with the rain. If you show up in a group, it can be fun. If you are by yourself it sucks. Alot of people were just partying it up & making the best of it. There was probably a group of 20 dudes walking around the show carrying an Easy Up Tent & drinking beers. C'mon that shit right there is dedication to the scene lol. I can just go on & on about how funny the people there were.

thanks man, to be honest i would have put you in wild. Custom Paint, Shaved, Body Kit, Vertical Door Kit...........................There was alot of cars classed wrong. I'm not one to grab a judge & bitch cause there is a car in my class that shouldn't be, not saying you are the type.............but now a days im not there to win anymore. Its more about showing off the work & meeting new people now. & sometimes getting a few new customers. I know the white teg that was with my crew was classed wrong. He was in Mild & should have been in wild. But he bitched the whole time about cars being in his class that shouldn't be. he is the type of person that goes to a show & wants to win & bitches when he doesn't. That just takes all the fun out of it. Luckily he got 3rd, cause im sure we would have never heard the end of it lol

Yeah I hear ya, this was my first Showdown, so I wasn't too sure were to place. I know that at HIN or Extreme Autofest that I showed at previously, they made sure that you were placed in the proper class. Now I know for next time, I don't know a lot of people in Texas, so Nicole and I just did this one solo, it sucked, since we are used to kickin with others at the show. Are u doing DUB in August?
