trouble~
Spoolboy mod is 2 -6 bulkhead with nuts, 2 stat-o-seals for each bulkhead (4 in total), 2 90 degree fittings for pushlock hose, 1 straight fitting for pushlock, 1 45 degree fitting for pushlock, and a couple of feet of pushlock hose, last but not least a efi filter. Spoolboy mod is not just a return line, its to get rid of the bottle neck in the stock fuel pump which is something really tiny and bypasses the stock regulator all together. So both the feed line on the fuel pump and return line are both true 3/8 in size, but it functions how the stock pump functioned. The return line part of the spool boy mod is a 90 degree fitting into the bulk head, then a stright fitting on the other side of the bulk head, into the top of the side of the stock canister.
Your return line goes into the canister so its always filled and functions exactly like stock. The stock regulator bypass fuel right back into the canister to keep it filled. This reduces the change of starving the pump and also keeps it cool.
Retuning the fuel into the filler neck is ok, however you are sucking fuel from the canister and its not being refilled as fast, which could cause fuel starvation which isn't a good thing. Spoolboy has nothing to do with the filler neck, I have run the spoolboy mod for 30,000+ miles boosted with no problems.
If you are looking for a "kit" for the spoolboy you are not going to find it. Just research about -an fittings and buy them online. There is nothing missing from the list you can find on neons.org or what I just said. I told you what I used, that will cover everything but you still need to get an idea of what you are doing before you hack up your canister.
Goodluck.

Here is your shopping list:
340006: -6 push-on hose (1 foot)
340004: -4 push-on hose (1 foot )
230006: Straight -6 push-on hose end
230004: Straight -4 push-on hose end
983306: 90 degree -6 bulkhead fitting
983304: 90 degree -4 bulkhead fitting
992406: 90 degree -6 bulkhead nut
992404: 90 degree -4 bulkhead nut
890206: -6 Stat-O-Seals (2 per package)
890204: -4 Stat-O-Seals (2 per package)
I have been running the spool boy mod for a year and a half with no problems. Be sure when you drill into the canister to do a pilot hole first so you don't crack it. Drill the hole a little bit smaller than the actual fitting. This way you can slowly screw the fitting into the plastic. Any other quesitons, just ask.

Yes, you need to have a feed. The oil pressure sending unit goes into the back of the block, that is a good place to source it.
