If you have an ATX, there will be a rubber grommet in the Firewall where the clutch cable would pass through on a normal 5 speed. Visualize where that would go, and you'll see it. Cut an X in the middle of the rubber, and pass the wire through it. Keeps a pretty decent weather/noise seal too. Hope that helps ya out.

It will be easier to find from inside the car...under the dash. Just get a flashlight and start visualizing where the clutch cable would go through the firewall if you had a clutch pedal there.....you'll find it simple.

i ran mine in under the drivers fender, into the door sill, and through a rubber grommet-ed hole in the sill near the black stopper arm on the front of the door. (its a factory pass-through, i drilled a hole in the grommet and passed the wire through it and put a dollop of silicon in the "cup" side of the grommet...)

its ghetto, but it works fine, no leaks and it doesnt bind or rub. w00t for lazy!

This is where I pushed my wire through the firewall.

Just to the side of that you will see where the clutch hole is that could have been used instead.

I've got two 4AWG wires run to two different amps. Instead of running 0/1AWG or 2AWG, I ran two 4AWG since I got the Stinger cables extremely cheap. I only paid $0.50 per foot. I purchased a friends entire cabling system from his totaled Impalla SS and only paid $30 for the entire lot as long as I uninstalled his stereo stuff. I got a pretty good deal out of it and the install wasn't even two months old.

Stereo setup:
Kenwood KDC-X889 Headunit, JL 300/4 & JL 500/1 Amps, JL VR650CSi front components, Clarion SRR6985 back 6x9s, Rockford Fosgate P312D4 (12" DVC 4Ohm). Custom built box tuned to 32Hz.

Image

My current project (outside of installing all the LEDs) is to build a set of kickpanels to house another set of components. When that's done, I'll run the back 6x9s off of the headunit amp until I get a JL Slash series 300/2 amp to push them. If I can find a pair, I'll be replacing the Clarions with a set of Kicker 6x9 IB subs. Keep in mind, the sub will be changed for something better. The box design is meant for a JL12W3.
