2000 Dodge Neon ES-T $5000

Post by playboy2k4 » Tue Jun 26, 2007 4:50 pm

Well most of you know me on here since i've been on here for quite sometime now and I have finally decide to sell my baby. Ive taken very good care of her and dumped tons and tons of money into her but I am halting this project to start something new. The car has everything under the sun done to it except for body kit, paint job, throttle body, and a few other things. The only thing this car needs is a another head. The reason is because the machine shop filed mine down to far when they was reconditioning it and ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... And I can go on all day but I won't I'll leave it up to you guys to call me if your interested. 404-718-9757 Call me anytime

That's all I can think of right now but I'll post more as it comes to me. As for the miles I'm not 100% sure but I will find out and post it up. The engine was ROACH's and I bought it from him when he got rear ended. I haven't driven the car since i got it from him so the mileage hasn't changed so i'll call him and find out but it should be real low though because I wouldn't have bought it if it was alot.

THE BAD:::::::

it is not running because as I stated earlier about the whole head thing the machine shop shaved off too much when it was being reconditioned and I used a headshim and two MLS gaskets to raise it back up level but now the timing belt won't go back on and I haven't put the motormount assembly and all that stuff back on either. also I am not mechanically inclined so I have ran out of money and resources to get a new head and to pay to have it finished. also I was starting a fuel return setup but (I am not mechanically inclined) so I didn't finish it but I do have all the parts. Also got into an altercation at a local club and my car had "F you" keyed into it. And when I had the downpipe made I had the wide band bung welded in to high and it needs to be moved further downstream. and last but not least the second exhaust pipe in the system needs to be turned slightly to the left for it to mate up to the downpipe correctly.

THE GOOOOOOOOOOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were to get a new head, swap in the cam, finish the fuel return line, and get the right rear quarter panel painted, move the widweband o2 bung, and turn the exhaust you could go to the dyno and tune it for 350 + easily. This is a really nice car for somebody that knows how to work on cars or somebody that has the funds to get the things done I just mentioned.

If the car was running, this would already be in the driveway...how much would it be to fix that head?

You can get a head for $100 used. I just don't have the time and money to put into it anymore. LMK because the longer it sits there I think about keeping it . thats why I need it gones because every time I look at it I fall back in love :love4: so spare me and buy it from me so I have no excuse to dump more money into her.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I went by yesterday and saw her sitting there looking sexy as hell and fell back in love so if I can come up with the money to get this new head before you can buy it then I'm keeping her.

Yep it's a race. I'm trying to sell stuff as we speak.

I used wheel spacers in the rear. The front don't need them.

I appreciate it Lambo. I've missed yall too but this whole car situation had me down and I didn't want to be the "DEBBIE DOWNER" to everybody so I just stayed away for a minute. But hopefully I can get this money together so I won't have to sell her. I'll be on more often I promise.
