Window decals
Window decals
I've always wondered why anyone would pay for a parts shop decal... It's like sayin, "Hey, i just bought a ton of stuff from you, now I'm going to pay you to advertise for you." I think it's hilarious. I think it's something the shop should supply for free when you spend money with them, like most manufacturers do.

I personally have no stickers on my car, minus the 2.4 turbo thingy on my hood scoop.
But as to what you said, some people love the product and want to support that company to the fullest extent, so they buy a decal and place it on there car showing how appreciative they are. I personally wouldn;t do it.

I assume you're talking about a particular part manufacturer, such as Hurst, B&M, Flowmaster, etc. which i can understand. But what I'm talking about is a place like modernperformance.com. I think that if I wanted to put a front window banner on my car for a parts distributor, that it should be supplied by them out of pocket. It's nothing but free advertising for them, and I don't feel that I should have to pay for it.MyNeonSaysHi wrote:I personally have no stickers on my car, minus the 2.4 turbo thingy on my hood scoop.

But if you are happy with their products and you want to show that your car is built with only the best parts you can afford (be it OBX and AEM or RAYS and TODA) or you just want the "look" of a sponsored car.
I dunno. I rock Teckademics plate frame, Gumball 3000 sticker. I have never been on a Gumball run or been in a Teck vid with my car (yet...give it another year or so when I have something worth showing off) so yeah...I am giving them a free nod. But if I had a sweet Vortech supercharger on my 350Z, I prolly would rock a Vortech sticker somewhere if it looked good with the car or at least subtle. But if I had a bunch of eBay parts on my 10 year old Neon...yeah...not so much.

I'd agree, usually most shops if you ask will give you a sticker or two with your order but you usually have to ask. I don't feel I should have to pay for a sticker for a store when they're already making money off the products I'm buying from them
