Kazera Springs with stock struts + shocks ?

Post by JFTL » Fri Jun 29, 2007 12:22 pm

Hey everyone,
This is for anyone running Kazera lowering springs. Will they work with the stock struts+shocks ? How's the ride ?

I'm debating on getting a set of Kazeras for the now lower price, or trying to source a set of SRT springs. I'm kinda leaning toward the Kazeras because they drop the car just a teeny bit more then the SRTs do from what I've read. I don't have a lot of extra money to spend (baby+house on the way), so I'm trying to do this on the cheap.

Thanks!

You'll be fine. the drop doesnt put alot of strain on the Stock Struts.

How about an alignment? How far out of alignment will the springs set the car?

You will need to get the toe set front and rear, definitely.

Camber should be out but OK really. I set extra in mine.

Here's my before drop and after drop alignment specs, keep in mind that tearing apart the suspension alone can move the specs abit. I was able to pull everything back into the green (but kept -0.7 chamber all around).

yeah. any time you pull the hubs off the springs you pretty much have to get an alignment cause you throw the adjustments off. I have my camber set to -1deg with the eibach camber kits and get everything else set to specs.

Get front and rear toe set and forget about the the rest it is truly fine. Mine is very similar and get great Tire Wear.

My toe is about 0 front and rear.

I put mine on like a month ago on stock struts, didn't get an alignment, and haven't noticed any weird wear yet, but I don't get to drive my car much so... yeah.

It feels alright to me, not too harsh and a moderate drop--great for the $ definitely.
