help with motor mount

Post by danielc24 » Mon Jul 02, 2007 10:27 am

i noticed my engine moving alot at idle so i moved my motor mount side to side and it's completely ripped in half! i called autozone but all they have is the whole piece not just the insert, can i buy just the insert or do i have to buy the whole thing? i really dont want to spend 40 dollars on it...

the rubber on the stock mount is molded in. You could possibly buy some Prothane Motor Mount inserts.. but with it being ripped i dunno

I hate to hijack this with a FS post but im going to do it anyways. :D

i have a filled set that are just sitting here. Paid about 35 for the mounts and 30 for the urethane. The mounts are filled with 60a urethane. Perfect for daily drivers. Best offer takes them.

BTW. SRT mounts are different than the neon mounts. SRT mounts have a slightly tougher urethane and the rear bump is longer.

the mount at the top is the SRT mount, bottom is se/sxt mount.

If srt torque struts arent the same length then how can people use the srt dogbones on a regular neon?
