hi guys. if your looking for a nice easy setup to do in your trunk to get rid of that huge box then heres an idea for you

first thing you need to do is build your tub like the one that i have thats red. you can find the posts on building it. then take some mdf and make a top for it. cut the back wall, seal it and drop a top on it. Make sure you have low displacement subs. these I have here are MTX 6000's in teh 8 ohm flavor. they have a low sealed displacement of about 1.5 cubic feet. the box will have about 1.4 cubic feet of airspace counting what the speakers use up.

They sound great. nice and tight bass that sealed box delivers. dont expect to go winning db dragraces with it but its a nice solution for someone wanting to free up some trunk space... ie us with kids!!

is the tub fiberglassed? if so im going to be doing this pretty soon.
