Sort of Odd question about Car Shells

Post by This Ya Boy » Fri Jul 06, 2007 10:00 pm

Is it possible to find like a 2003 neon shell at like a junk yard or is that like looking for a needle in a hay stack? I think it'd be so much cheaper to find a dirt cheap 2gn Neon and swap it rather than use my own car. Also with a shell its only missing an engine right????

Someone help this noob out.

probably a little easier to find will be to just look for clips, and literally 'cut and paste' an entire good shell together

most 2003+ neons in a wrecking yard are there for a reason... they were in a fubar accident.

that's a ROLLING shell when it has suspension and wheels on.. shell just means bare chassis, or if you're lucky you get the main body panels ie hood, fenders, doors, trunk.

Find a mildly hit wrecked car at a rebuild it kind of place and sell off what you don't want/need. It would prolly be less time consuming and less stressful to do so.
