Replacing auto shifter knob?

Post by Pablodragon » Mon Jul 09, 2007 12:02 pm

Did a search on this board, could only find an old post that mentioned this, with a link, about replacing the trigger style auto shift knob... the link was actually for doing it in a PT cruiser, but I guess they are very similar..except, as mentioned in the post, not the same for 03 and up....

anyone know if there is anything out there to replace the stock one? had looked in the past on evil-bay, there was sumthing a while ago that someone got and tried to make work but it didn't...was some kind of black and chrome deal, they could never get the trigger release to work

Iknow, auto bad, MTX good..but theres no way I have the time or money right now to to a swap...so I thought I could diddle with this idea... :thefinger:

u can use basically any universal shifter for auto or manual, they all come with diff adapters to fit diff vehicles. i personally like the button, but if you get one for a stick shift, all you have to do is push down and shift...
