af/x rear bar requires modification to seat belts?

Post by dawm » Fri May 13, 2005 11:26 am

i got a af/x rear bar for a steal, problem is, my rear center shoulder belt is in the way and i cant mount it, i recall reading on howell's site that you need to modify the seatbelt in order to get it to fit, so what parts and what do i gotta do?

also i could have sworn ive seen a rear af/x bar with a center mount bracket, but i cant for the life of me rememebr where, does af/x make such a beast?

nope, youll have to remove the center seat belt assembly. only bars that fit that i can name off hand right now are the DC/Mopar bars and any of the vibrant/ebay front bars ig you mod them to fit the rear. oh and the p-werks bar

I don't know about you, but my car sits so low that if I were to put five people in it, it would hit the ground. Therefore, I just removed my center belt and installed it. No complaints here.
