If money were no object. Id go with everything from the high end of Arc Audio. But since Im not rich, the new truck will be getting the high end of Boston components and subs, and Rockford Fosgate Power series amps. As far as decks... factory MP3/6disc deck for me.

Alot of people stay with the stock head unit and i did for a while but once i got a new one the difference is crazy. I have a much dissed sony unit but everyone who hears my car thinks i have a sub and i dont. I guess it depends on what your into, but drums especially sound fantastic. As far as decks... factory MP3/6disc deck for me.

Aftermarket decks are nice. But, in the case of my new truck (what I was talking about in my original reply), The factory deck looks so much better in the dash, Id like to keep my steering wheel mounted controls working without rewiring everything. And the factory 'premium' decks are in-dash 6disc players that read MP3 burned CDs. And signal pushed though an aftermarket processor and EQ, into compitition grade amps and speakers should sound nice enough.glasjaw wrote:Alot of people stay with the stock head unit and i did for a while but once i got a new one the difference is crazy.
