Wanted: Pics of SRT4 springs on 2000+ neons

Post by ChrisRT » Fri Jul 13, 2007 10:12 am

What I'm looking for is the before and after pictures of a 2000+ Neon(preferably a 2001-2002 R/T), with and without SRT4 springs.

I've had mine for a while and have been meaning to put them on, i think its about time! :) :D

The front only lowered it alittle but the rear evened out nicely. The ride Im not sure because his struts were shot to hell before we did the swap. He is now running KYB struts and brand new ACR SRT springs. I got an awesome deal on the package. A local guy on ebay forgot to set a reserve and my brother ended up only paying $15 for the struts brand new in box.

Not the best pic but basically it lowered it slightly in front and almost an inch in the rear. Basically we did it just because he needed struts and the springs were so cheap. The ride seems to be a higher spring rate but Im not sure.

:laughing3: Try having 135K on stock springs+struts! No problems to be reported yet (knocks on a Redwood tree and hides!) I'll eventually get a set of coilovers, but yeah, had to throw my .02 in.

I think I am going to try somethign different.... at leats I never heard of it before, and it might make it look fricking hawt...

I have 1gn R/T springs on right now, and the back is really low (see sig) and I have a set of SRT4 springs in my parents garage... I need to align the car soon, so maybe I will take off the rear RT springs and replace them with the SRT4 rears... wonder if it will even out the stance (fender gap actually) and help with the rough ride it has??? :D
