Per your request... here's how I have it all installed.
This box is a beast. I've got a two inch clearance from the trunk wall to the amp rack. The amp rack is a vertical board mounted against the rear deck so the amplifier wasn't mounted on the speaker box.

Another shot of my sub and box. This will give you a better perspective of just how big this thing is. Takes up more than half of my trunk.

My antenna is mounted in the back on the roof. The wire runs along the edge of the window hidden inside of the rubber surround.

Here's another shot of the wiring done at the battery.

Here's a closeup shot of my amp and the rack in the background. What I should have done is mounted both amps on the rack and span the whole back wall, but then I wouldn't have had access to the trunk from the inside.

Another shot of my amps for you. Looks pretty good when I pop one seat down and they are both right there. Things look a bit out of perspective because I took the shots upside down with a 108 degree wide angle lens.

I've since cleaned up the wires and ran them under the carpet. I still have yet to do the same with the power and RCA cables though. All it takes is just a small X in the carpet and slide everything through. Makes the install look real clean and professional.
At this time I don't have pictures of the speakers installed... but you really can't see them anyway so there's no point.

ill post pictures soon, but I took out my drivers seat and mounted my amp on the floor, ran the wires through the pillars to my sub which is in a plain box that I need to touch up. The amp being under the seat is great its out of the way and the seat still clears perfectly.

What do you mean you ran your wires through the pillars? If you have a manual where did you run your wires from the battery?soldierofink wrote:ill post pictures soon, but I took out my drivers seat and mounted my amp on the floor, ran the wires through the pillars to my sub which is in a plain box that I need to touch up. ok, the wire to the batter is ran from behind the deck through the firewall, up to the battery. then my amp is under my seat...so I ran my rca jacks under the center console, then under the carpet and connected to the amp. the speaker wire I ran up to the middle pillar, down the side under the plastic, then under the seat. It was quite simple and very clean. Im wanting a fiber glass box that I can remove at any point and time so if anyone knows of any body let me know.

By the way you should turn the sub facing the back of the car. Leave the smaller seat with the amp down and bring the big seat back up. Should make a huge difference in.... "BASS" It does in mine.. Makes my CD skip when it thumps.. Getting sick of it too.. Need a good CD player that takes Sirrius.. Currently have a Kenwood..

That's using the back of the trunk like a folded horn speaker design. It made my 10" MTX sound like a 15. Great for rap electronica, but no so good for punchy rock music.DjTransifi wrote:By the way you should turn the sub facing the back of the car.
