need help finding a computer program

Post by boostinss » Sat Jul 14, 2007 11:15 am

my parents own a store that is 45mins away from our house and they are just putting computers in it so the employees can work on the computers. My mom works at home on her computer and wants to know if there is a way she can see what they are doing at home and if needed take control of the keyboard?

just set up their own accounts on the network, and just dont give them privilege to install new software if you're afraid that they'll just talk on msn all day... and most people get it that if you've gone to that length, you dont want them using web messenger either... might be a good way to give the employees a little trust just to see which are the ones always trying to bend the rules, and which are the ones that dont fuck around

is your mom sure she actually NEEDS this sort of software and access over the computers on the network, or did she just ask for that coz that's the stuff they show in movies so she just assumes it can be done just like that with the snap of a finger ;) if she just needed to access the computer for work, there is already remote desktop and that live help thing when you can take over teh computer from your end... windows already gave you the tools, they're free to use ;)
