a blower for that car isn't exactly expensive...not to mention I've seen multiple later-model mustangs with ATI prochargers make the same power as LS1 bolt-on cars

Lot's of money and time has gone into my car...

ANYWHO....$800 bucks for a grassroots beater is great, even if the engine isn't running up to par now you got it cheap enough to get any parts for it you need. You got a whole car for the price of a set of rims and tires if you think about it. I know a bunch of people who have blown $$$ on worse investments, at least you can have fun with it until it blows up. Like a giant go-kart.

Me, I'd prep it for auto-x:
a) it's already gutted
b) got a great engine (get it fixed)
c) lightweight chasis to start
d) TONS of aftermarket support
so:
a) sell the 17s and get 15s with grippy tires
b) sell the NOS and get better suspension and chasis braces
c) supportive seat with harness and good steering wheel
d) upgrade your clutch and flywheel
e) have a hell of a good time! If it blows up, you still got your Neon!

lol ive tried selling the wheels almost had a buyer but it fell threw. There was a kid that wanted to buy the nos so after i uninstalled it and gave him a call he said his dad would'nt let him buy it. I really do want to take it auto crossing tho but drag racing at the strip is on top of my list (thats how us southern MD ppl roll

) lol Right now i want to get itr 4-1 headers and a victor x intake man. right now tho i need to find out wuts wrong with the motor im gona start with a comprssion test to see where i stand . If the block is bad then im goin with a ls/vtec setup with the b16 tranny. and other goodies. i hope by the middle of next yr ill have a semi built motor thats ready for boost.

i had no clue that we were friends on myspace......i saw the blue ef on there and then seen the neon.....when you get yours done let me know because you will have to run my 89 si that is not h22 swapped
