broken wrist

Post by Wenuden » Sun Jul 15, 2007 7:37 am

I broke my wrist today in a motorcycle accident. It hurts like a sumbitch. Broke the right wrist, lukily 'm left handed. cant work, cant drive, cant barely type one handed, and no pharmecies are openyet. it sucks. bruised left knee, right hip, large laceration on left shin, bruised throat from helmet strap. worst part is i hit a friends car. playing chicken, he swerved first, then swerved back. my fault, got a ticket, porolly gonna get dropped from insurance.

Sorry to hear you got hurt, but one can't help but wonder if you learned anythign from being dumb while driving a motor vehicle? What made you think you wouldn't get hurt doing it? I guess we all think "that it won;t happen to me", huh? Sorry man, I hope you heal fast and well.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, beer in one hand, Jack Daniels in the other, body thoroughly worn out and bleeding, while screaming "Holy s*** what a ride!"

i was tired and in pain this morning wqhen i wrote this, didn't explain it very well. the game of chicken was choreographed for a stunt vid a friend is making, fort a section called close calls. the driver of the car was suposed to swerve at the last minute which he did, but his hand jerked back to the left just enough to catch the cage of the bike on the inside of the fender, causing the bike to come to an almost complete stop, pitching me over th efront of the bike, i flipped in the air and landed face-down on the pavement. an on-looker called the cops like a bitch, and since it happened in the cars lane i got a ticket for "failure to stay right". we had the street blocked off, so there was no danger to otherr motorists, but there were resiodents atching from their back yards (one of which called the cops). the dumbass weith the camera deleted the vid when he found out the cops were on the way >.< i'll take pics of the car aand bike when i go tomorrow wwith the insurance adjuster.... gonna be a fun day.
