03+ left side fog light install?

Post by titansxt » Mon Jul 16, 2007 3:09 pm

Is there an easy way to get the fog light in? I can seem to get my fingers in there becasue of the washer bottle being where it is at. Any help?

Did you take the black cover off of the bottom of the bumper? If not, look underneath the bumper. There will be about a half dozen small bolts right at the bottom edge. There's a big black shield that drops down, allowing you to gain access to both sides pretty easily. My hands are huge and I didn't have any problems.

I'll try that. Thanks.

The best way to replace the fog lights is to pull the headlights out and reach down from the top. If you have a CAI it should just be a matter of 4 Screws for the headlights and 3 for the grill. It is still a bit of a squeeze if you have monster hands but it is doable.

I did the whole under the car BS and trust me I am not doing that again... What a pain.

Cheers.

So I did the black guard thing......that foglight is never going to lite up again. The bulb will not budge and yes, I do know how it comes out. I'll try from the top in the morning.
