plus with hagerty as a show car you can't drive the car every day, only on the weekends, right?

I wish i paid $2400/year. with the car and bike, i'm over 4k/year, soon to go up due to totaling a bike and getting an at-fault ticket....

naw you tell them how much you drive the car and that changes your rate, i think im at 1500 miles a year, but they have the OD at 117,000 miles and currently the OD says 33,000 miles (give or take)....lol

I'm just special.

It probably helps that I am still under my parents policy, but they are fully aware of me driving my car and how many miles I drive.

And when I get the Monte done I will probably go with hagerty, but I wont tell them 1500 miles. I'm gonna drive that thing.

 Dang Racer thats pretty low! Nice deal you've got there.

I had been paying approx $1,100 for full coverage on both my 02 and my husband's Sonoma. Dropped coverage on the 02 since its not running and we're at $780 with full on the Sonoma and liability on the 95. I got lucky that both my accidents are now off the record and he hasn't gotten any tickets in several years.

a good way to reduce your rate to almost have is to only get third party coverage... i've never had comprehensive, just third party plus theft and vandalism.... the way i see it, that's just piece of mind if YOU crash into someone.... so dont crash, and you'll never have to worry about it! also, the fact that you now know that you absolutely CANNOT crash into someone, makes you a better driver imo, coz while you still take stupid risks, you dont take nearly as many... at least i dont....

Yes but in different states they have diff insurance laws. MI is a no fault state meaning even if I was at fault their insurance pays for them, not mine. Now they can sue my insurance for up to a certain amount but most of the time it isnt enough. Other states like IN if your at fault you pay for the other person, but if they dont carry collision you now have to goto court and settle it.

no doubt, my srt w/ only 2k extra insurance is 400 every 6 months. I turn 25 TOMORROW, so hoefully ill see another drop on my renewal in AUG. not to mention its much cheaper to pay 6 months (or a year) at a time.

I pay $175 a month on my 85 ram 350 van, an my 05 sxt. They think I have the van "for work" and the sxt is fully covered with a $500 deductible.

I can't wait till I get this dumb ticket off my insurance.

Direct quote from my insurance company:
Amanda @ Rose Auto Insurance Agency wrote:THE POLICY WOULD INCREASE BY $304 (FOR SIX MONTHS) BY TAKING OFF THE SXT AND PUTTING FULL COVERAGE ON THE SRT. THE SRT AND THE ESCORT FOR SIX MONTHS WOULD BE 1353. THE SXT (WITH FULL COVERAGE BACK ON) AND THE ESCORT WOULD BE 1277 FOR SIX MONTHS. RIGHT NOW YOU PAY 83 FOR THE SXT IN STORAGE FOR SIX MONTHS AND 966 FOR SIX MONTHS LIABILITY FOR THE ESCORT. I HAVE ATTACHED A COPY OF YOUR DECLARATIONS PAGE AS IT STANDS RIGHT NOW
Don't tell them that I drive the neon with :quotes: Storage :quotes: insurance. :D

That's with 3 speeding tickets in the last 2 years.

 Sounds kinda like me haha. When I got the white car I called my insurance company and told them to add the white car on. They asked me how many miles I plan to put on it each year to which I told them very little since I drove my dads truck to the bus stop everyday and took the bus the rest of the way... that alone dropped my insurance a substantial amount. I asked what they had the other R/T at and told them to update it that it sits in storage and isn't driven a whole lot. All together I got my insurance lowered enough that when I added the white car on it came back up to the same price that I was at before.
