Dealer is an idiot. The SX2.0 is what they call it in Canada. Out here it is the SXT. Nothing is different other than the badge I do believe...

Theres an R/T in a junkyard around me that has a badge that says SX2.0 Magnum but the doors and maybe trunk said R/T before they were bought. This led me to believe that the SX2.0 was an R/T right?

SX2.0 is the canadian version.

EDIT: In Canada, eh,,, the 'sx2.0' badge replaces the 'Neon' badge, on the r/t's at least.

When Daimler reintroduced the PL (Neon) to the Canadian market as a Dodge, it was badged as an SX 2.0. It had previously been marketed as a Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth Neon. SXT, American, SX2.0, Canadian.

On the RTs it sez 2.0i High Output. I have the badge from one on mine.

The SX2.0 was just an SXT. I had one at my work the other day.

No. In 2003 The "Chysler Neon" became the "Dodge SX2.0" in Canada... Like midnight_rider said. Here's mad_medeiros 2004 Canadian SX2.0 R/T.

To tell you the truth, many car salesmen do not know what model trim lines are across each border.

A Chrysler salesman I spoke to when I was looking for a car here in Toronto said he has "NEVER heard of anything called a Neon SXT"... lol

So. Everyone almost has it right around here.

A Dodge SX2.0 is the same as a base Dodge Neon. Same car, different name.

Our "Sport" designation is the same as the USDM "SXT" designation.

We also had an SX2.0 R/T offered in '03-'04 model years.

The reason for this was, as David said, DCx wanted to "redefine" the car in the CDN market, and by changing the name from Neon to SX2.0 they felt it would give it a new image :D

Ya I find it kind of funny that our Gauges go up to 240 km/h, and some of the sx 2.0's i've seen including one in town here is an SXR lol, and then some are R/T's, seems like Chrysler got a little confused up here trying to keep the R/T under one name lol.

Nope, Its all good bud. The SxR package was a package offered through the dealer before DCx released the SRT-D to try to drum up excitment. It had dual exhaust, SRT spoiler, side skirts, and interior dress-up as well as the badges.

Completely different from an R/T

Ah ok, I figured somebody would correct me lol, something else i've noticed is that everybody in Canada that has a Chrysler Neon wants to make it into a Dodge Neon ala the States, and vice versa.

Same with BUX Neon owners- they seem to be interested in swapping Dodge grilles for their Chrysler ones.

Repost in case anyone missed it...

So this must be what I saw at the junkyard then? SX2.0 Magnum badge on the trunk and R/T on the doors?
