Its an email account, with a 1000MB storage limit, and a pretty good varriety of user names and such (not a lot of people). Its free, if you can get an invite from someone who already has an account. Or you can buy an invite from someone on ebay, normally for about a buck.

And mustang people are stingy with their invites, so no luck for meh yet.

Isn't it the new web based google mail? Or is it the other g-mail? I heard google was suppose to change the name because some other company had the rights to g-mail.

Our university e-mail is run by Google. All the students got Gmail accounts.
