Yeah, that's a great price! But, are you wanting the car for show or go? 17's take how much off your time?

Yes considering you will need to replace the ones that ones that go on the back IIRC to prevent rubbing.

stock srt tires will rub on your spring perches....so you'll need to replace them anyway... if they are in good condition you can probably sell them on SRT forums for almost all you paid for the wheels.

Ditto on the go but ditch the tires. Unless your running SRT Struts or coil-overs.

Run srt struts. I picked up all 4 for 80 bucks and it's a lot better solution imo than going with those skinny tires. 205/40 is ugly.

@ www.edgeracing.com not too much depending on what you get, but you will also need to get them mounted and balanced. Figure about $400ish when all is said and done.

maybe a stupid ? but i have done much searching. . . i found tons of info about srt 4 rims not fitting an sxt due to the spring perch. this is my prob... around philly we have some roads that tend to destroy rims and tires. killed stock tires on my snow flakes (tires are so much $ to replace) so i got some nice 17x7 rims and replaced tires on all rims 1-2x's each. now i have a cracked rim / a car sitting because i have other things i need to spend the money on so what i am looking for are any rims (even steelies) and some decent tires ( i drive 60 miles or so for work daily) .... again i have been looking for the last few weeks i found a set of srt4 rims with good tires and the guy wants around $400 for them. SOOOO the ? is basically since i will not buy new tires how do i go about trying to modify the spring :banghead: perch for the space i need to get these things on and drive...

The easiest solution.
Or don't buy them.

16" '04 style 4 door Stratus wheels work with SE/SXT struts. I have hit some serious pot holes with 205/50 16 tires and haven't damaged anything. "Knocks on wood"

I got all four wheels on ebay for $150 and sold the tires that were on them for $40. Granted, it was a pretty lucky find.

They actually ride better than the 14" tires I had stock.
