Alternator went out

Anyone have issues with the alternator making a whisstling sound upon giving the car throttle? I had no idea what the noise was, but the turns out it's the alternator. Dealer is replacing it now.

No, mine just straigh up crapped out on me a couple months ago.

How many miles was that, my car has about 56,500 miles on it.

Nevermind they changed the alternator and it still makes a whisstling sound upon giving the car throttle, you can hear it when the windows are down, or the doors are open. I'm pretty sure theres a leak in the air intake system.

It made the exact same noise as it did when I had the AEM ccld air intake on it.

Anyone know what it could be?

Sounds like some sort of vacuum line leak somewhere to me... I know it's not much help, but it's better than nothing.

It was at about 42,000 miles
