Time to move on to Bigger and less exciting things...

Post by CrashTeam » Tue Jul 24, 2007 1:51 am

So I traded in the Subaru today... Looking to cut cost in every place, I happened apon a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe, picked it up about a grand below book and managed to get the dealership to cut me a check for the Subaru!
Sure Im gonna miss the sound of the Turbo Spooling up and the look on the Mustang gt owners face when I tell him its a 2.0 L... But I guess Im just growing up...

It came down to the Santa Fe or a 03 Neon Sxt, it was featureless, auto, and had alot of rock chips, so it was SUV city for me!

GLS V6 4wd... couldnt give it up...

Go ahead :ban: me, I deserve it...

You are gonna love the room and the stowage. And the warranty is stellar. They really are great cars. Problem is they are more vanilla than a Toyota. But it sounds like you like it and you got the higher end model.

FWD SUV's FTL. But, you know...you will have such little upkeep costs over the Neon and yeah, the gas mileage is gonna suck but it's a great car for keeping your ass out of trouble and safe at the same time.

I will own my SRT-4 til the day I die.

Congrats on the Santa Fe, they look pretty cool and I bet it was pretty cheap.

It's less SUV than you think. It's more of a raised up car. It's not gonna go off road (at least don't try much more than a walking trail, LOL!) but it will do the job of family hauling and budget driving while being reliable. Dash molesters hate them because they are 90% plastic cars but they are more "doable" than most people give them credit for. No status at all but it's great for those who need more of an "appliance" than a "car".
