Front plate holes?

Post by neonsxt0486 » Thu May 19, 2005 10:31 pm

Well in the next few months Texas is getting rid of front license plates! I took mine off and the holder tonight to see what it looks like and it looks clean except for the three holes. What could I use to plug those holes up?

www.hzemall.com offers a liquid plastic. Get something plastic to fill the hole (like those trim panel thingies), mold it in with that liquid plastic stuff (maybe bondo?), sand down and paint.
BTW from what I understand, fiberglass does not stick to plastic, so i wouldn't go that route.
If you don't want to paint it, I used chrome carraige bolts.

Yep! As of September front plates are no longer a requirement. Theyre gonna start issuing one plate for the rear only. Im in Texas City.

Bubble gum and a little touch-up paint. :D

I wish Ohio would pass that kind of law.

That is some weird shit. I have never heard of a state starting a new law in between the calendar year. Rock on Texas, too bad I know it will never happen in New York. I get pulled over because my intake is too loud.
