possible scratch module?
OMG some of you are talking NSX and of all things EVO??? Evo is a total effing waste of $$$. WAY overpriced. WRX NON-STI plus money savings to put it far beyond the speed and handling of an EVO or even an NSX...
some of you I can tell understand this! But a number of you are talking "AWD launches" and other nonsense. WRX chassis is a rally-proven champion, and a favorite for road courses. Certainly it was partially responsible for knocking Mitsu off it's high-horse in WRC (not to mention excellent drivers wrangled FROM Mitsu).
And I can't even imagine comparing an SRT-4 to one. They both have turbo twincam fours. That's about where the similarities end. There is absolutely nothing great about stock SRT-4 suspension compared to a WRX. 2Gn chassis are great and handle well, possibly better than most cars in their class and perhaps a class above compact sedans. But in no way do they handle like a Scooby.
My $0.75

You don't want any German car out of warranty unless you know someone who fixes them and can get you parts discounted. They are a fickle bunch but fun and luxurious.
A 1991 NSX is a panty dropper. Even if it is old, people still think it's a Ferrari. And the 3.0 Acura engine is a great reliable engine. Supercharge it and add some staggered wheels and you are ready for just about everyone to snap their neck at you when you park it at the mall to make your cell phone payment. You could daily drive the NSX easily but it's not a winter car. The WRX is a great winter car and is a great platform as well. Parts are expensive because they are usually well made and perform well. Just like high end SRT parts. You get what you pay for.
I would do up a sheet of what you want to spend. With and without mods. Find ALL the cars you want. Find out what mods you want. Then compare and contrast. Parts prices, upkeep, gas mileage, tires, oil changes, what could be covered under warranty if you get a new enough car, what major things are not and what they cost when you brake them, etc. It's alot of leg work but all in all you will find the car you really want and can afford to drive comfortably without breaking the bank.

Your in vegas you dont have winter get the NSX and all the women you want
Most people who bought NSX's really treated them like supercars so most of them saw all the service done at exactly the right time and only sunny warm days you should be able to find a 91 with under 10000mi for 20K and you can forget about depercation.
P.S. I hate you you have me looking for a NSX now
P.S. I hate you you have me looking for a NSX now

Most people who own NSX's beat the holy smurf outta them. When I was tinkering with DSM's, some guy picked up a used NSX with intentions to turbocharge it. It was beat all to hell, even though the body was clean.
Even though it's a Honda, I wouldn't want something that was beaten on.
Anyways who needs a car to get women?

personally i wouldnt waste my money on the acr.....the only difference is the tokico suspension and if you want to seriously road race you need coilovers anyways.....the bbs wheels and acr seats are both great, but i personally dont like the look of the srt on 16s
between the srt and wrx
srt>wrx
between s4 and srt
s4>srt
however audi and VW are the number one cars back in the shop....the motors are garbage and if you've never worked on a VDUD motor its a bitch...1.8t=overrated slow garbage

this fucktard came up to the beach the other day with a nice blue scubie, the guy was a dick though and blocked the dirt parking lot driveway, got out, locked his car and walked away leaving a line of cars. but it's non regulated parking so nothing could be done, but it's just one of those things you dont do. it's a shame because it was a badass new STI with some cool shit done to it.
