Ok, this is my 6th one now. This is it, i'm just going to goto the dealer I guess after this.
Now I am replacing my PCM due to O2 sensor issues that I believe are PCM related. I put this PCM in and the car started and it kept running both which usually didnt happen with the other PCMs i've tried. Now the first thing I noticed is that the car is running horrible. But I checked the O2 sensors and they were actually working, my wideband confirmed that by reading just over then just under 14.7:1 back and forth. However I looked and realized I was only at 500 RPMS then my CEL pops up and I get 3 codes:
P0743-Torque Converter Clutch solenoid/trans relay circuits-An open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter clutch (part throttle unlock) solenoid control circuit. Shift Solenoid C electric fault.
P0443-Evap Purge Solenoid Circuit-an Open or shorted Condition Detected in the EVAP purge solenoid control circuit.
P0508-Idle Air Control Circuit- idle air control circuit input is below acceptable limits.
I took the first two directly out of the FSM, and the last one wasnt even on there I had to look it up on google. Now I think its simple, I got another bad PCM right? But is it actually bad like its shorted inside or something, or is it just for something else like maybe an R/T or a newer/older neon? I'm just trying to get all my facts straight before I call and try to get my $400 back. thanks guys!!!!!!
PCM issues still...

6th pcm?
I know they go bad, but not 6 in a row, ive not see 2 in row....

Code #1 - Diconnect the round plug on the front of the trani near the bell housing, this is for the lock up in the torque converter
Code #2 - Purge solenoid is either disconnected or bad
Code #3 - Same response as #2, its either diconnected or bad...
Now these answers pertain to you replacing your pcm with the same year and model as yours....not if you stuffed a 2000 pcm in a 2001....

oh no i havent had 6 go bad lol. i've been talking to you a lot about my problems with these, i've just gotten then from sentry key cars, or once from a 2000. This one is definetly a 2001, I just think that this PCM I got is simply bad. I got it from a place that remanufactures them and I never got one of those codes before, then put in that PCM and I got them, swapped it back to my other one and they went away and didnt come back.
