Comments on the transaction: Well, the first group buy with Matt went terribly bad about a year ago from this day. Sent him $200 for LED rope light. He never had the product made.

After about 3 months of complaining, he refunded $50 of it. Another 3 months or so goes by, he overnights a painted to match LED brake light, and then sends a dome light shortly after (he forgot to put it in the same package.)

At that point he still owes me $65. After riding his ass HARD for several more months, and after numerous excuses, he finally sends the rest of my money.

One of the worst people I have ever delt with when it comes to customer service. He always had an excuse, but never (or rarly I should say) did anything to solve the problem at hand. Becuase of all the constant headache that came from this business, chances are I'll never buy from him again.

Not to mention the constant promises of SRT-4store sponsering my car (and marakkas) back when I was throwing WAY to much money into it.

Slvr: i dont know how many times im going to have to say this, YOU SHOULD HAVE FILED A SHIPPING CLAIM. It left Chris's hands in working order, and arrived to you NOT working......thats shipping damage, not faulty product!

There is NO way to fix your third brake light now. you pulled the board from the housing, paint is damaged, JB Weld is still in the housing and on the board most likely, and it would be impossible to sand the parts smooth again to redo it. The only thing that COULD be done, is it being replaced, which i can not (and will not) do. The housings are no longer available from modern performance, which is where teh housings came from in the first place. Other than that, i wont replace your unit becuase you DID NOT do as i told you to do. If you would have listened to me, then it would have been fixed and back in your hands, working once again. Not to mention, you're the second owner, and warantee's only apply to first owners, but i was going to be a nice guy and take care of it anyways....

shit on me for not fixing a product that you damaged when you have no warantee....fine...you were given your options, you chose not to take them.

Ill send you the plate light when the order comes in, but your third brake light is trash now. I've washed my hands of this.

This is why I thought about leaving the Neon community in the first place.

We don't have these problems in the Dakota R/T groups, because if someone rips someone off, everyone jumps on the guy to do the right thing. If a vendor screws up an order, they usually make it right, if not, the community jumps on them.

Here, we've got two sides going at it, with a vendor caught in the middle. This can't do anything but get ugly.

I completely agree with you. I am not saying this to stir crap but i find it amazing that these guys are not, at least, banned from these boards. Streetbadges was banned from here and yet he squared away with everyone. SRT-4Store, alliedcomposites and evilcreations have all had serious problems supplying people with the goods they have paid for yet they are still free to roam and spam up these boards. This is a serious conflict of interest.

I have helped run many message boards in my time. My previous board still has over 130,000 registered users. If anything like this happened to any member; i would morally feel obligated as a mod, admin or even just a veteran of the site to somehow help them get their goods, file fraud complaints and/or have these people banned.
