Well, after installing my sri, my car sounds like a beast, naturally. But if i'm flooring it, it'll sound monstrous then let out a big PSSSSSSSSSSFFFT, kind of like a huge ass blow off valve, but not the wimpy whistle, more like a strong sound, imagine when you used compressed air ...now that noise times 40. Sounds crazy, everyone turns heads, but I don't know why? Any ideas? everything is running fine..

I would say check and make sure you have all your vac hoses etc hooked up still, but actually, it just sounds like a short ram intake would... I think it is just your TB closing causing the air still be sucked in being forced back out through the filter. My guess only.

My CAI sounds like a BOV at times as well when shifting and letting off the gas at high rpms.

I thought the SRT had an Diafram blow off valve and not a whisle. I get that sound with mine, and i understand that its louder with a CAI.

I believe this is very normal for the SRT.

If it is an R/T or an acr you might be hearing the sound of the manifold closing which is also amplifyed by the open filter along with the "push back"

with my CAI on the SRT the surge valve is a lot louder. It will sound like a BOV in some situations.
