Who does affordable window tinting? SW PA/Pitts. Area

Post by TeckNeon » Sun Aug 12, 2007 10:27 pm

I am sick and tired of looking out of my nearly clear windows. Anyone in the area know of anyone who does good work on the side or at least knows of a place that can do it for an affordable price while not sacraficing the actual work?

I need all 5 windows done. My car is black with black interior so a semi-dark tint would be fine. Nothing too dark but enough to make it look good and uniform with the rest of the car.

Ziebart wants nearly $400. I don't think I have laughed that hard in awhile.

Check any local tint shop, ask what kind of warranties they offer against peeling, purpling and bubbling also what kind of film they use. Check to see if they computer cut of hand cut, hand cut usually costs more but it can look the best. Around me a 4 door car costs about 109-150 so hope this helps.

Did you do the rear window? My buddy Matt (who also had a silver SXT ) did the same thing with him but they only did the side 4 windows. and it looked really weird with just the rear not done. They apparently pulled the windows completely out of the car and tinted them and then installed them. Obviously you can't do that with the rear window like that.

I gotta get up his way and get some SRT sway bars off him one of these years. Maybe get the windows done while I do the bars underneath. 2 things in one day.
