AOBE On NGC Non-Turbo Neons?

I was browsing through some of the normal forums i frequent every morning while im busting my butt at work. :bs2:

I found this link a while ago and never paid any attention to it until i fully understood what AOBE/map clamp actually was. It does give some vague info on boosted neons but does not say anything about NGC neons that have no boost. Does anyone have any more info on this to possibly help alieve the NGC situation even a bit?

ngc isnt a problem. someone made 270whp/270wtq on a 03 non mag at 15psi. others have ran decent times with little mods.

well yeah they speak alot about turbo neons but its really vague, dont know if they are speaking about srt-4s or turbo'd neons. Either way im thinking in terms of a non turbo'd car.

What im asking for though is has anyone tried it or have put some thought into this for ngc non-turbo neons? If i had a place to dyno the car i would most definetely go in blind and try this mod out right now.

do you have any pics or schematics of your clamp? Im getting very curious with this. I really cant find anything else on this though. Looks like it may just be for turbo'd cars.

its the samr design as that one, ill look tomorrow and see what wires its hooked to, but iits on the mapsensor wires i believe (its been awhile since i installed it). but im sure the wire up oin that site is acurate.

any luck with some pics of your map clamp?

what im getting to is that i dont see why the map clamp can only specifically be done on turbo'd cars. If this mod is being done to fool the map sensor then why couldnt this be used on non-turbo'd cars.
