I've already been working on it a few months, but I figure it will be nice to have a log going so I can watch my progress. I tend to be a little scatter brained about what I want to do, everytime I see something cool I go "Wow! I wanna do that!" and run off in that direction until I see something else, and do the same thing.

Mods Currently completed:
Mopar Perf Plug Wires.
Turbo Resonator in place of huge stock muffler.
Half Shaft Mod on T-body.
1GN Throttle Plate Mod.
04 SXT Cluster. (White Face Gauges with Tach.)
Painted HVAC Panel Silver (needs Redo).
Side Mouldings Removed.

Mods Pending:
Underdrive Pulley (just bought one off eBay).
Rims (they're at the powder coater, need tires still).
SRT4 Springs (my car needs struts).

Things I need to do.
Get all the door dings pulled.
Get a new rear bumper to replace my split one.
Reset my computer so it can re-learn the new air flow from the installed 1gn t-plate, and adj. the idle screw because the t-plate likes to stick closed (very slight).
Get Struts so I can put on my SRT4 Springs.

Things I want to do: (not in order)
Finish painting a few more interior parts silver.
Mopure STS with Boogers, and Jonny Mopar Cradle mounts.
Rex Motor Mount Inserts.
Magnum Exhaust Mani. (pending sale from kc2002acr).
Mustang T-body (pending parts gathering).
Black Hemi Stripes (gotta get those door dings pulled).
White 5Wedge Leds in the cluster. (poss. other areas too).
1GN Metal Valve Cover for Powder Coating, and better PCV location.
Fuel Injector Cover to Paint.


Much later on:
'01 R/T Cam.
PT clutch (when this one goes).
PT 100 Amp Alt.
AVS Downdraft Spoiler.
"Raccoon" Devo Headlights. (mine are AZ yellow)
Magnaflow Muffler to replace cheapy exhaust.
SRT Dash Pod with Volt or Oil PSI gauge (not sure which).
Different side markers.
I'll need a radio eventually (Noise on FM, I listen to CDs).
Need a pass Door Speaker (Noisy).

I'm sure there's more, but that's all can think of for now.

Mini-update.

Got the throttle plate situation figured out (it seems). I turned the idle adj. screw about 3/4 of a turn. Have to drive it some more to make sure that it's fixed totally.

Here's another update.

Got the wheels powdercoated, and on this week. Received the Magnum Header, just need to get the o2 bung welded on. Painted the dash piece that's in front of the cluster silver today. Still waiting on my UDP.

Got the bung, and it's been dropped off with the welder.

I also have aquried some door lock acuators, and a nice Viper alarm that I hope to get on the car. So....

Things I need to do.

Got the underdrive pulley last week, and installed in on friday. Car revs much easier now, and can feel more pull in the mid range.

Header has the bung on it, hoping to get it on today if all goes well.

Stripes are on their way. Also hoping that the dent guy can look at my car today, so that I can have a flat surface to get them installed on.

Magnum Header was installed last week. Car pulls nice from 3K on (like all NA Neons). Dents were pulled also, and the car looks 100% better. Stripes are here, just need to talk to the install guy about getting them on this week. Still need to get struts. Also, we were the proud parents of a baby boy last week, so my modding will likely slow down for a while (maybe ).

Good luck man, things are looking good so far. Under the hood is sooo clean.

Just a suggestion, get a CAI. That stock air box and resonator are just insanely gargantuan. You'll feel more power just from weight reduction alone lol.

Yeah, I've been thinking of doing that just for dress-up value since it won't do much more then that. I'm looking at getting one of the "better" ebay ones and putting a good filter on it.

Stripes were put on last week. I'm really happy with them. Of course they have made me extremely aware of every piece on the car that doesn't go with the black and silver thing. Hoping to get a shorty black antenna, black depo headlights, and black signal markers in the not too distant future. I won't tint the tail lights because I live in AZ, and glare is a major issue.

The only difference would be that I will likely do it in semi-gloss black, and it will be painted rather then a sticker.

Been a ginormously long time. Been driving and neglecting my car, but now getting to the point where I want to give it some attention again. Starting to seriously look at getting my clutch done as it's still the original (200,000 plus miles). I'm also starting to put together a game plan to rebuild the engine as it's starting to consume oil.

The car has been keyed on the drivers side. It being silver I'm not sure if I will be able to do much about it.

don't buy a shortie antenna, just make yours one. i cut mine, ripped the ball off the top, put it on lower, and sprayed it black.

Welp, looks like I will be putting some of my fun mods only hold. Found out today that my power steering rack is puking atf4, so I will have to look into getting that fixed before I do anything else.

On a good note I found out from my work's touch up paint guy that he thinks he can repair the key markers.

Well, gonna try Lucas Powersteering stuff in for my rack. Got a co-worker here who had a MASSIVE leak from his old trucks gearbox that was all but stopped by Lucas. I figure for 10 bux it's worth a shot, if it messes up the rack I need a new one anyway.

Took the time to wash, and clay the front of my car this weekend, so I snapped a few pics. I pulled out the fog light covers to see how I like running it without them, and also wet sanded the headlights while I was there (they will just yellow again). I pulled the front badge so I can paint part of it black. I'll post pictures of it when it's re-installed.

Went to the junkyard today and had some good luck. Found a 1gn valve cover to paint, fuelrail cover to paint + put my custom sticker on, and trunk lid carpet. Getting a new windshield tomorrow, and might be ordering a set of new headlights soon. Huzzah!

Little bit of work done over the weekend. Nothing directly to the car though lol. Got my 1gn valve cover 70% stripped of the old paint, and found a donor antenna that I cut short, and am now prepping to paint.
