ok so im trying to get a picture that i can blow up and print on a poster, so i photoshoped one, i really just messed with the levels and brightness of the picture, but this is what i came up with. any comments? good and bad are welcome

Both are not very good. The car is the sex, but the original is too dark, and the one that Slvr did is too grainy. I think you're better off taking some new pictures with better lighting. It's better to have too much light than too little light. You can always go darker.

Those are just bad pics there isnt much you can do about it. Go take some more in the same spot, thats probably your best bet.

i agree with the others.....take pics in the same spot during the day.....the sunset can easily be photoshopped in the way the original looks but with more detail on the car now....dont edit the image as a whole....layers are your friend.....everything piece of the picture should be its own layer with its own brightness and contrast....the car is supposed to be the most important part, not the background

Remove your front licence plate prior to shooting too.

you have really nice rims and you cant see any detail on them at all in that pic, i would say take some nice daytime pics, then you can see everything on the car.

A graduated neutral density filter would help even out the brightness of the sunset so you could increase your exposure time to get more color on the bottom?
