^ That's my girl in a former life :) All of the body rust is gone now the engine and frame are solid except for the fact that I broke one of the valve cover bolts off. Right now I am working on finding IMSA charger parts (espicaly the dual weber set-up) The list right now is:

782 "swirl" head milled 0.030
Hooker LTH
2 40 or 50 mm weber carbs
MP 767 cam
13:1 pistons

Yes I know its a mistake to try run this on pump gas :)

Its not a mistake, if you back down the timing a little, which, being carb'd you can.

Why not go for 12:1 though and definitely make it a pump gas engine?

Since nobody messes around with N/A 2.2's any more the highest compression piston you can get is like 9:1 (stock TBI or T1) and the same guy that has the carbs also has a set of 13:1 pistons and a cam that looks kind of like a broom handle with soda cans glued to it :) .

A word of advice that rust desolver gel stuff actually works

You know, you can get custom pistons made ;)

Looked into it they are worth more than the car  . I am starting to think about using stock style pistons and shaving the head down a little more.
