casue I cant get a hold ogf one for a MTX. the nly one I can was from this forum and the guy sold me a LEMON PCM. and up here in canada it is al most impossible to find these things. adn I have a huge cam and shit so using my stock PCM is not a good idea.jrumann59 wrote:why are you doing this. an ATX computer looks for a few things that your car can't give it. What all of those are I can't recall I think lock up, and couple other things.

you can use your stock pcm, but I think that the afx ONLY works on the type of car your pcm is set up for -- ie, atx pcm must be on an atx car whereas mtx pcm muct be on an mtx pcm

jamie sry your PCM is FINE the one I got from ANOTHER person here was a lemon.Jamie wrote:According to Howell himself, they will work in an MTX fine, it will throw a code for the torque converter lockup. There other things going on with your car. PCM is not the problem
