^dont hate.....hondas are great cars that can be built fast and nice if done right....there is just a bad stigma on honda from the ricers that give them a bad name.....a clean swapped civic or dc2 teg are very sexy in my book....i loved my b16 eg and it was a great car to learn stick on and was still fast enough to have fun in......the best thing about honda is the versatility......

lets face it....anyone who knocks honda is really knocking the ricer stigmatism because honda engineering is fantastic.....pioneering variable valve timing years above the rest of the car community....while everyone can knock VTEC because of its ricer past, it is an incredibly well designed system that was years before its time....it was designed to save gas and has been stigma'd into the cult that it is today, but dont hate honda.....hate ricers

From a defected honda guy that car is allright. Here is the problem though if you go on any honda forum I would say that at least 1/4 or the people on there (as well as most other import sites) has something (bad) about Neon/SRT-4's as there sig. The fact is that of all the honda guys I have met I enjoy talking with 3 of them (all SCCA/ASCC members) the rest simply seem to belive that there civic is the best car ever. The only thing Honda has come up with is VTEC where Chrysler has done countless things (not the ones on the commerical) factory turbocharging, american FWD, reviving the performance market after 2 fuel shortages, ect. Right now today Chrysler isnt the best car company in the world but they do have a shot to get back on top espicaly now that the new owners are becoming more enthusist(sp) minded

Ouch! But let us NEVER forget this is the USA where we have that choice! Things would be pretty boring if everyone did the same thing. I also have to admit most of my issues are with most honda ppl not the car.

True, but with the way things are going with all of the foreign competition having trade laws tilted in their favor, there may not be any American-made items from which to choose.
