Time to brake out me ye ole CAD program for smurfs and giggles

If you are going to become a vendor of these, you should...Izero wrote:well I went ahead and made myself a set for the front, if you wanna see the results go check out my progress thread... I used Aluminum instead of stainless steel... so if anyone wants me to make them a set toss me a PM, it will be $25 shipped for the front set... haven't made the rears yet...
Gotta pay for school somehow...? :-\ and its not like I'm charging an arm and a leg to do it... barely making a profit on these specially since I'm using Aluminum instead of stainless steel, I like the properties of Aluminum vs. stainless, regardless of cost... I think I'm actually gonna refine the design a little more... Make it a little more Hidden, as well as maybe make a few different widths, just like the real ones...SlvrACR wrote:LOL making money off a design i posted for free. Your welcome. Glad I bought them to help you out.

The first pic, the metal looks curved, but on the template they're not curved at all. Is that just an illusion because of the way the metal is bending, or what?SlvrACR wrote:Here is the pics. To make the other side just flip it over. I used a sheet of stainless from HomeDepot for $15 and you can make 2 sets. If you need any more pics let me know.

You're missing a few measurements. Also, the bottom edge is straight on the diagram, but the picture has them slanted. Is that supposed to be your version of looking at it at an angle, or what?Izero wrote:ok so this is my make-shift drawing from the dimensions shown..... anyone know if they are all 100% correct or what?
