ummm havent these been on ebay for a while..and the ppl said they wernt bad at all...worst come to worst u throw some hids in there.....

Yes, they have been on ebay. But like i said, someone we can all know and trust stock these things.

I dunno about you, but eBay parts like these are shady to me. Damn knows I'd rather order from Modern than some off beat ebay company.

I just called to have my order placed.

Whoever was on the phone seemed to be a bit confused until I told them about the thread on neons.org. I guess they wont be in until sometime next week, and for some reason asked if I wanted to be billed now or later, reguardless of the thread saying i WILL NOT be charged. 0_o

Either way I'm excited to get them in.

i hope they come through for you josh...i want to see the output and if they compare to the ebay ones....and they def need to get organized cuz that isnt a good start...but i hope they come through cuz im lookin to get some sometime in the future

Reguardless, if I have problems with them, I can bitch to Modern about them and get the problem fixed instead of dealing with eBay.

I don't see how this is any more reputable than the ebay projectors. Everything about mine were perfect. And 230 $?? I paid 170 for mine. All they are doing is buying them in bulk and selling them for more.

Pre ordered mine!

Been waiting for this one to happen. I would have even paid as much or a little more than fleabay to be able to get them through Modern, those guys are top notch and I have ordered many a part through them. I do believe they are all comming from the same manufacturer. And I was told if I had any issues they'd take care of it. Good to go! And they're more reputable because they're a company that many people have delt with and had positive experiences with. Besides they're cheaper

90% sure its the ebay ones .. they are just buying them by the crate load ...

as for rep. company ... with the mixed experiences i have had with modern ... i would stick with gettin em on ebay ...

the price they are asking ... is almost dead on ... with the avg price on ebay (once you add shipping in) .. so i would bet that is where they matched their price ...

i still have 2 refunds promised to me from them ... that i have just decided to not bother with anymore ... both of them are from errors on their side .. (kinda like the billing, and what the thread said .. etc) ... and even when speaking with someone in charge ... got no where with it ...

but of course experiences vary ...

yea, these are all the same pieces no matter if you are getting them from ebay or modern. just make sure the company you are looking to buy from on ebay has good feedback and you 'should' be alright. or you can just buy from modern. i, personally, have never had a problem with them.

I ordered mine yesterday
The guy new excatly what I was talking about without having to mention the post on the org.
The guy told me there was no wiring that needed to be done to install these.
I can't wait to get these I've been looking for a pair for awhile and finally Modern has them. I've ordered all my stuff from them and am happy to have ordered another

they are definately the same ones from ebay....if they werent modern would have but a brand name on the post and they didnt.....i too would rather get them from a dealer than ebay, but i doubt they are any different

I don't expect them to be different. I just know if I have any problem with them, Modern will step up to the plate and help out like always.

And I do not want to deal with eBay if I have a defective product... that, and I'm saying about $50 with the 03+ projectors.

All they needed was my credit card number, everything else was already in their system.

He said they should ship out Tuesday/Wednesday.

Read the post title - the 03-05 halo projectors are still going for $270+40 shipping or therabouts... The same thing for earlier model years are at least $100 cheaper on the average...

How's the output/beam shape on these compared to the stockers? The output on the stock headlights are probably the best of any factory car I've owned... Anyone tried replacing the H1's with something different/non HID?
