I am thinking of buying this for cheap. Was wondering what everyone thought. Was taken off at 1800 miles. The resonators were takin off and a straight piece welded in. How loud do you think it will be? And if it is loud I could always weld a resonator in later down the road. This is kinda a budget idea. Thanks.

On a non-turbo motor, the SRT-4 exhaust is VERY LOUD. Without the resonators, it would be VERY STUPID LOUD Every cop you go buy should pull you over. Bad, Bad idea IMHO.

OK thanks, anyone else want to buy it I could let him know if interested. I don't want something extremely loud. And why would I lose power if this is what basically is on a SRT4?

my cure for the noise and power was to replace where the stock resonators where with a 32" glasspack..it worked great until Igot bored of the sound...

It's all about airflow. A turbo motor moves much more air than a NA motor. In a system with too little back pressure (from an oversized, low restriction system), you lose way too much low end power.

dont qoute me onthis, but I think the SRT on my car just shifted the power band up more,i.e. you can feel it pull harder at around 4K, while the stock exaust it started pulling around 3K (this is all compared to the rest of the power band)
Oh and I'll get you the other sound clips tommarrow, hopefully after work.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.

i had a fast fab header, no cat, no resonators, srt4 rear section, 2.5 inch piping.

it was loud, it was fast too. .but i had a good bit of na mods.

a little too loud for daily driving tho. .not so much for my ears, but the cops enjoyed stopping me.

I could vouch for that comment... (the 4k comment) but don't really remember how the power band was before the exhaust. long time ago.

The 3.94 gears really help that situation though. BTW, the SRT exhaust is awful without some sort of resonator or glasspack. speaking from experiance here
