getting the ride ready for daily school commutes, and i have 2 questions:
1. i have an aem cai, and i figure its about time that the cone filter should be cleaned (its been 2 long chicago years). does anybody know how to do this? i have the dry filter, so it dosnt need to be re-oiled. just cleaned...
2. besides the spark plugs, tire pressure, hoses and belts, what else should i concentrate. fuel filter? ive had the car 4 years and never messed with the fuel filter, trans filter/fluid, stuff like that.

1. I believe AEM sells a cleaning solution for the DryFlow air filter. Either that or they have instructions on their site. http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.as ... goryID=102
2. Don't worry about the fuel filter. The trans fluid/filter, iirc, should be done every 48000 miles. If you have never done the wires it might be time for that too.

Yup you're right. I have to do that pretty soon. There's a nice How-To in the How-To section on that though.racer12306 wrote:The trans fluid/filter, iirc, should be done every 48000 miles.
