its become more immature because the people that started this forum are moving on to bigger and better things like life. and the new people are younger.

I'll be back on these forums as soon as summer is over. I'm enjoying it too much to be on the int4rw3bz. When I have homework to procrasinate you know I'll be here. But racer did have a point.

hehe ... a fair amount have moved onto newer cars or trucks ... and it is mostly the younger kids buying em used .. that are looking for help and info now ... happens all the time when a car is discontinued ... the sites for it .. slowly start to droop .. on traffic and new content ...

i stick around, because most of the places that have info on the truck i have now ... i feel like i need a john deer hat and a spit cup to talk there for to long .. =P

I know that I'm one of the new members here on 2gn, but I can tell you that I for one have benefited greatly from this community. There has been a lot of good people coming and going through here in my short time. I believe that once you’re here for the right reasons you’ll always be here, maybe not as much as some used to be, but life has a way of stepping in and things change. I'm a true believer that everthing in life goes in cycles, just hang in there and things will get better.

As for leg humping.... not all of us do that!

As for fighting and bitching... that's what family members do.

As for the site being freaking awesome... I feel that it still is freaking awesome!

After hanging out with everyone at Carlisle this year, the last thing that I want to see is 2GN changing for the worse. I check the website when I get home from work at night and once again when I get up in the morning. I know that I don't add much (or anything) to the technical aspects of this forum but I do value the camaraderie with you people.

i reason why i choose this site is for one reason and one reason only. the love for my neon. and didnt think a site like this ever exsited. i was happy to see that people share the same passion as me. even tho i dont own a neon any more i still share the same love due to the fact its the first car i spent alot hours/time.money/ blood on a car. so when i see new guys coming on here im glad to see the neon community growing ever so bigger. the Dodge Neon may no longer be in productioin but the family gets bigger. so every time i see a kid riding around in a dodge neon i stll roll up next to them give them a little friendly rev and go on. so i hope things within 2gn do dont change for the worst. hopefully i can make it to carlise one year and the avernger will be in show quailty form to show off. iknow there is alot of member on here that have moved on from there neons but the fact that they still come to this site and post still shows that they still have love for the neon community. its about time we earn our 15mins of fame . no longer should the neon community but looked down on and be the "under dog" of the tuner world. its our time to take our spot in the history books along side with america top performance cars. hopefully dodge in acouple of year reproduces the neon and if they do ill be the first at my dealership on a wait list.....sorry for the rambling ...just my 2cents

Things change, it's how we deal with change thay matters most. If the newer ppl can be influenced in a positve way then isn't it all worthwhile? (myself included) To be honest when the Neon first came out I hated it. Then came the 2gn's - eh, alittle better, but I still wasn't buyin one. Then gas prices started going up and I couldn't justify $200-$300 a month in gas so I started looking at smaller cars. Got the neon for a steal and the rest is history Have to admit it's one of the best cars I've owned. 32 city/38 hwy ftw!

I haven't been here very long but I joined mainly because I feel that this is one of the better forums out there for any car enthusiest. I've visited plenty of forums before but never joined (outside of CarDomain which I keep forgetting about) because of the sheer lack of respect and trolling that goes on (like at CarDomain). Anyone who comes here can find more real info and technical advice than BS, and although opinions differ from time to time for the most part it is handled swiftly and respectfully.

With seemingly a billion Neons out there thanks to the rental car industry, and with the end of production there is no short supply of used cars for cheap (which kills me when I think of how much I paid for mine new). So it's no shock to me that a younger crowd will pop up here looking for/adding to advice or just a place to put their 2 cents in the name of Neon. It's a changing of the guard so to speak.

i will be on here a very long time. i have seen changes already. when i used to own my 86 chrysler turbo lebaron convert, i was on turbododge.com alot. there was always immature people there and i got to live with it. im used to it, every forum will have immature people. it'll never be perfect. i like this site because people here have a sense of humor and alot of information, not much have common sense, but everybody learns something from each other.
