Don't pay attention to the "Dent" on the left side of the bumper. The plastic is in shock from having the Rack pressed up against it, so it has taken that shape for now. A little heat & letting it hang in the mounted postition should do the trick. I have a bit more tweaking to do on the Plate Mount, some sanding to do, & then i finish the cover for the whole & it should be done

Steering Wheel came in today & it says is Chrylser, so still unsure what model it came from, but its not like it is important.
The classic wheel measures in at 16" & the stock measures in at 15" so not much bigger, but still bigger. The splines don't match up as expected. I just need to figure out what i can do to make it work

Knowing your work, I am going to assume that the dash will remain fully intact with the exception of modifying it accordingly to fit. Will the gauges all remain on the dash and be fully functional?
That is a lot of work, the finished project is going to be pretty clean. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for updates. Keep up the good work.

It's definatly a "one of a kind" car.
I follow the evolution of that car for many years now (since you drop it with 1st gen Goldline and you put your old Focal rims on it). I love that car!

the factory gauge cluster will remain until i upgrade to the Digital aftermarket one. It runs close to 600 bucks & im in no hurry to buy the damn thing lol. The dash will be weldedin, sectioned, & what ever holes will be sheet metaled in. I'm going to try to use the factory knobs on the dash, but we will see how this pans outmagnus wrote:Knowing your work, I am going to assume that the dash will remain fully intact with the exception of modifying it accordingly to fit. Cut 1.5" off each end & removed 2" out of the middle, So all in all i removed about 5". Now all thats left is to fill in useless holes for knobs, clock, speaker, ashtray, heater controls, & radio that i will not be needing. Then i can cut out a hole for my head unit & my digital gauge. After that i will be welding in the dash
