Cheap SubWoofers!!!
I just blew out my old subs and saw circuit city had a 2 12" sub with enclosure and amp deal for $129.99, so i picked it up and they are
GREAT! Magnum series, an unheard of name but they hit wit serious knock, and for the price u can't beat it. If your looking for cheap subs i highly recommend u go pick these up!

I still have a set of 10" Sony XPlods in my garage (going on 7 years old now) that I have to one day install in something. They are ok speakers for what they are.
Personally, for a quaility system, I would only run JL...and have mostly, since high school.

Isnt this considered spam? I would think it is close to it -- maybe Circuit City is dying for some more sales?

Now why would you say something like that? I have been working at Circuit for about 3 years now, and I like the company.MoxHairR/T wrote:Circuit City Sucks.

About those cheap subs, they will sound good for the first couple of months, but once they are broken in, they won't sound the same. I bought almost the same set-up from Best Buy, the Dual brand. I thought they were great, but after a couple months, they gradually started sounding like crap...
Then I upgraded to Kicker, not exactly the best brand out there (compared to JL Audio), but man my ONE L7 sounds better than most dual 12" subs. A year and a half later, the sub actually sounds better...
But hey, everyone is on a budget. Start saving up for a really nice system that you won't have to constantly change/upgrade.

and it was also just a joke, which is what I thought this whole thread was.

I'm chilled...
I just love how people will tell me, that the company I am working for, is 100% for sure going out of business. Yet they end up buying stuff from us anyways...
We do what every other major retailer does, put the cheap stuff in the add to get you in the door, and then try to sell you something nicer.

cool... I was hoping you wouldnt take the big pill in a bad way
And believe me, I know what it is like to work for a place that everyone hates (or in your case says is going outta business) yet still dumps all their money into it

It doesn't really bother me...
Unless someone makes a statement like that and has no proof or nothing substantial to back it up with. If someone is going to give their opinion, great, but at least be able to back up...
The one thing I can't stand about retail is how people think the company they work for is better the competitor. All I have to say is, you work for the company, you don't own it, and your not married to it either.
