Considering it is just a strong foam, I wouldn't paint it unless you rattle canned it?

Doesn't look bad at all... I wouldn't paint it tho like the last poster did.. looks fine on his but his and yours dont look the same.

Now you need to get in some factory foglights or trim out the mount castings, and cut out the two posts in the airdam.
Drive it like you stole it, and work on it like you married it.

I've done that to 2 bumpers so far and each one... it sucked doing it. Very hard to not skip off and mess up paint around it... lol ask me how I know  I used a dremel.

I was actually going to suggest a razorblade and some patience. But honestly I think you're right, too much trouble. He'd be better off getting an alternative from Ebay, like this:

He could paint it white like the car, or (my suggestion) paint it black.

Or you can just get some OEM foglights from Ebay, and wire them up yourself. I see new and used sets there all the time.

Actually I've been looking for a set of black ones if they make them. If I find a set, I'll sell mine for cheap.

BTW kplaya186, I like your wheels :D

I dont think he should, for the reasons I stated earlier in the thread, but who knows he might not agree...

Not bad at all. Just leave it unpainted so it wouldn't look gaudy IMO.

No its staying black like it is... because if i paint it then the paint can crack its only foam... its not even plastic... and plus I like it somewhat hidden like that... you almost have to look for it to realize that its there... it doesnt stand off in your face...

My neon is also getting one soon... cost about 12$ to make so...
